2017年もあっという間に大晦日です。僕が１年間に見たライブです。2017年は計38本のライブを見ました。ニューオーリンズのフェスなどに出かけた2016年と違って、近場のみだったので、その分は小少なめです。

そんな中で一つだけ選べと言われれば、デビュー後50年以上経ってまさに奇跡の来日を果たしたスペンサー＆パーシー・ウィギンズを選びます。特にスペンサーは、だいぶ老け込み明らかに全盛期を過ぎていましたが、歳月が経ったからこその深みに感動しました。あとは、渋谷センター街をパレードして楽しませてくれたトレメ・ブラスバンドも最高でした。2017年最後のライブはラテンソウルの大物ジョー・バターン。昨年LIVE MAGIC!でのステージがよかったので、かなり期待はしていたのですが、期待をはるかに上回る圧倒的なステージでした。あれで75歳ってすごいです。彼を支えた日本のバンドも完璧でした。

来年もいいライブにたくさん出会えますように。2017年も本ブログを見ていただいてありがとうございました。

どこの駅からも徒歩圏にはない、練馬のはずれ、白石農園で行われるFesta In Vinyl。東京23区にもこんなのどかで辺鄙なところがあったのか、と初めて来た人は思うのではないでしょうか。


こんなビニールハウスの中でやってます
周辺は普通の住宅街なので、一時期は騒音問題で開催が中断されていましたが、昨年に続き今年(2017年）も11月に開催されました。その名の通りビニールハウスの中で行われるコンサートで、農園で採れた野菜や卵で作った料理の出店がでるのもこのフェスの大きな楽しみです。

今年は、またラインアップがよかったんです。主宰の梅津和時、多田葉子両氏が中心となったこまっちゃクレズマはいつも定番（今回はおおたか静流のツアーで張紅陽欠席のため、「こまっちゃクレズマ5」名義）ですが、他は藤井康一&Moccoly、マダムギター長見順&岡地曙裕の二組が出ると聞けば行かない手はありません。と言ってもどっちにしても行くんですが。。。（笑）

あと、沖縄から来たがールズというデュオが出ました。僕は初めて聞く人たちでしたが、この人たち最高でした。三線の弾き語りという沖縄らしいスタイルからロックっぽいものまで盛りだくさんで楽しませてくれました。

藤井さんのチャンポンダマンボもMoccolyのダンス付きで楽しかったし、マダムギターも大いに湧かせてくれました。

休憩時間には、人参を抜きに行きました。あとでいただきましたが、しゃきしゃきしてとても美味しかった。新鮮なのはいいですね。

ところで、まだまだ構想段階らしいですが、大江戸線を東所沢まで延長する案があるらしいです。それが実現すると、この畑のすぐそばに駅ができることになるらしく、気がはやいもので、その際の駅の予定地の看板が掲げられていました。練馬の秘境、白石農園が危機に？（笑）

グラミー賞の僕が挙げたブルースなど６部門の受賞者は、以下の通りでした。
ウィリアム・ベルとボビー・ラッシュが受賞したのは嬉しいですね。二人ともこれを機にまた来日公演期待したいところです。

一方、リージョナル・ルーツは、ノミネートされていたルイジアナ系の3作品はいずれも受賞を逃し、ハワイアンの若手カラニ・ペアが受賞。僕はこの人は聴いたことがないので、今度聴いてみたいと思いました。しかし、ルイジアナ勢、ちょっと残念だったな。

2月12日（日本時間では2月13日の朝）は、第59回グラミー賞授賞式です。
ブルース銀座としては、特に気になる賞はブルースの２部門とリージョナル・ルーツ、それにアメリカン・ルーツ３部門です。
以下の作品がノミネートされています。
リージョナル・ルーツはルイジアナ（ケイジャンとザディコ）、ハワイアン、ネイティヴ・アメリカンなどが合体したカテゴリーですが、今年はノミネートされた5つのうち3つがルイジアナ系ですね。先日のベスト・アルバムには入れそびれましたが、ロディ・ロメロの「Gulfstream」は非常にいいアルバムでした。タイトル曲もアメリカン・ルーツ・ソング部門にノミネートされています。是非、受賞してほしいです。

他は、アメリカーナ・アルバム部門にウィリアム・ベルのスタックス復帰作がノミネートされているのも注目です。

先日、今年のニューオーリンズのジャズフェスの出演者リストが発表されました。

今年のジャズフェスは、4月28日（金）から4月30日（日）、5月4日（木）から5月7日（日）の計7日間の開催予定です。僕は今年は行く予定はないですが、でもやはり毎年、誰が出演するのかは気になってしまいますね。

昨年、雷雨のため演奏できなかったスティーヴィー・ワンダーが今年こそということか、またヘッドライナーにブッキングされています。あとは目を引くのは「CUBA COMES TO JAZZ FEST」と題し、キューバのバンドが大量にブッキングされていることです。これまでも、キューバのミュージシャンの参加はない訳ではなかったですが、これほどまとまってジャズフェスに出演するのはお恐らく初めてでしょう。キューバと米国との国交回復で機は熟したということなのでしょう。これだけでもワクワクします。ロスバンバンまで出るんですね。中心人物だったファン・フォルメルが2014年に亡くなったあとも健在なのは少々驚きましたが、嬉しいことです。

ブルース系は、さほどおっ！と思うような人はいなかったように思いますが、90歳を超えてもまだまだ現役。今年もヘンリー・グレイは出演するんですね。あと、バディ・ガイも昨年に続き出る予定になっています。ガンで闘病中のヘンリー・バトラーの名前もありますが、無事出演できることを祈りたいです。闘病をしながら音楽活動は続けるそうなので、本人も出演は楽観しているんでしょうね。

チケットはというと、前売り$70、当日$80で、昨年より$5ずつ上がっています。実際には窓口でかってもウェブで申し込んでも、最低でもサーチャージが$10はかかるので、かなりお高くなってしまいました。いったいどこまで上がるんだろう？これまでの入場料の推移は下記をご覧ください：
